Welcome, I have many different resource numbers that could help you..

For counseling agencies ( Catholic Family Services-more domestic, Durham Family Services, Rose of Durham, or parent drop in so you dont feel like your alone, (Rose of Durham for young parents (15-23) and Ontario Early Years for all ages for parents and their children till age 6...) Food for thought more for young parents (15-26)drop in, Eating well for prayer and counsil and food help, Family Visitors for parents with infants they come to your home, and more, for ones that we may not listed or have off hand we would be willing to look it up for you. Durham College offers some financial aid in some cases based on income for part time day time classes, or for low cost or sometimes free tuition at the continuing education, through e.a. level school...and John Howard Society can help with many employment resourses and counseling as well....just ask... look forward to chatting soon...

We are hoping to start our solid foundation in a church, until we receive the funds and people to come and reach out into the community. We are hoping to write an article in the local news paper within the month of March, so keep your eyes out...We are hoping to have outtings to help us have fun and get our minds off things in a fun, supportive environment.
